It’s strange to think that everything around us is the product of someone else’s labor. It’s very easy to take it all for granted. The people who built (and continue to build) civilization: who constructed our roads, homes, and monuments, who help to feed and care for millions, are unsung heroes: generations of nameless masses who toiled away - often at the expense of their own lives - for what we enjoy today. The least we can do is offer these workers, past and present, some acknowledgement and appreciation. With all that said, I wish you all a happy and safe Labor Day.
