Anonymous asked: What are your own career goals may i ask? No one as intelligent, and mostly, intellectually curious as you, should be unemployed too long surely?

I appreciate both the question and the compliment :) Whoever you all, you must be paying good attention to my profile to notice I’m unemployed ;)

I have several goals in mind, as I am currently in flux about what I want to do. I’ve narrowed down my goal to one or all of the following: being a diplomat, working for the UN or some other nonprofit (Red Cross, Doctors Without Borders, etc), being a journalist, or being an educator (either teacher or professor). I’ve even considered doing all of the above, albeit at different times in my life. 

Unfortunately, I need to make my mind about where to start and how exactly to get to these goals. I’m pretty disorganized about it now, but I’m confident I’ll figure it out soon. All I know for certain is that I want to do something positive and meaningful for the world.

I hope my answer is satisfactory, as I am quite tired. Feel free to ask follow-ups. I enjoy such discussions :)
